The USPLSS for Missouri and Arkansas are similar, having been surveyed under the same instructions. But, there are differences: Missouri has RSMo Chapter 60, Arkansas has no statutory law relative to resurveys on the USPLSS. In the seminar these differences will be discussed, as well as the applicable GLO instructions, methods, lotting, protraction rules, and lost corner reestablishment rules for both states. Calculations methods (with examples) applicable for each state will be covered. All this, instructed by Dr. Dick Elgin, who literally “wrote the book”, on the USPLSS for both states.
